Made while at Vermont Studio Colony.  Plan to paint at VSC residency changed, 14 below 0. Used canvas, stretchers & rice paper to construct boxes. This simple one of black gesso on rice paper, with graphite rubbing of studio floor, collaged with text from Robinson Crusoe book ended with “Oh, I have time.” Marked change to 3D work.
