Tonic is the record of an experiment to try to fill a glass bottle with liquid iron. Many tries later— I did it. This rebuilt cabinet holds the pieces of broken, fused glass from each failure up to the “Tonic.” I learned from each pour (thus less broken glass). A letter to Cornell is attached to the back reads in part.
